From pre-admission through recovery, Dr. Harwin’s patients at Mount Sinai West are treated with courtesy, respect, and dignity. Patients undergoing joint replacement attend pre-operative educational classes and recover on out state-of-the art unit dedicated to orthopaedics, with specially trained nurses, physical therapists, and social service specialists.
Mount Sinai West 14B Deluxe Patient Care Unit
Patients who will have total hip replacement, total knee replacement, or other procedures that require staying overnight in the hospital have the option of staying in our 14B Deluxe Room Unit. The 14B Unit staff is skilled in caring for total hip replacement and total knee replacement patients, and work with our physical therapists to help you recover as fast as possible.
This unit features large, luxurious private patient suites with many deluxe amenities including:

- Concierge service and room service
- Gourmet meals prepared by our unit Chef
